Ethically made, it is important!
PagaBags is a solidarity fashion project working with artisans in textile in Burkina Faso. Our aim is to promote traditional know-how through fashion and collaborative design.
Eco-fashion and design
Concerned about our ecological impact, all our bags and accessories are made of organic cotton and organic or plant dyes.
Respect for people we work with
Local economic development is important in Burkina. SO is empowerment to artisans. We work to support both through professional training programs and decent wages.
Bogolan, mon amour
We love the multitude of local traditional know-how in textiles and especially Bogolan. Bogolan uses macerated plants, grains, leaves, and mud to create amazing designs and patterns on our handwoven organic cotton. We work with four artisans (Bogolan is traditional a masculine artistry): Maiga, Lucman and Inoussa and Amadou, each has his own unique, incredible design!
Vegan, but of course!
Cotton, cotton and more cotton, that is PagaBags is a nutshell and that is all there is in our beautiful vegan bags.
We upcycle, recycle, transform our leftover materials. No waste!
