Promoting artisans
Our Boussouma Collection is made from plastic repurposed into colorful, marbled beads. Made by Zemes Taaba, a women’s farming association in Burkina Faso, this collection supports the same values and creativity of our classic PagaBag line. We love working with Zemes Taaba and knowing that the income from our creations help them get by throughout the year, especially after harvest and before sowing crops.

Pagabags promotes responsible fashion, one that is good for people and for the planet.We use organic cotton, non toxic and plan dyes, recycled and repurposed material, … and we provide professional training for all our artisans as a means of autopromotion!
Calculating a fair price?
With Zemes Taaba, we worked together to establish a fair price. Our price is based on the costs involved in creating the necklaces, a wage for the work and a solidarity bonus to help the association cover essential costs such as schooling and health.
