Backpack Bogolan "Indigo"
This backpack in handwoven organic cotton realised by the association Tigme Pagaba and hand painted with Indigo (plant dyes) was created in partnership with Innoussa and Amadou who work at the Village Artisanal in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.
Our Backpacks, are just the right size, "not too big, not too small", for every day use.
Like all our bags, we think carefully through the design with the idea of offering you a stylish yet practical, sturdy and spacious and above all full of pockets and so COMFORTABLE you'll forget you are carrying a bag!

PagaBags is solidarity fashion project in partnership with the association of women weavers Tigme Pagaba and artisans in Burkina Faso. Launched in 2013, we try to help artisans by promoting their beautiful traditional know-how and artistry through fashion and design.

Concerned about our environmental and health impact, we use organic cotton and organic or natural dyes. Committed to human rights, we assure decent wages. Concerned about empowerment, we provide in the field professional training for all our partners.
We up-cycle all our leftover material that we use to create our clutches, eyeglass cases, etc, nothing is lost !
